Duties
The Levelling-up and Regeneration Act 2023 does not currently define duties for organisations. Duties will be introduced through subsequent legislation.
Amendment
Various sections of the Act relating to compulsory purchase orders (excluding those requiring authorisation from Welsh Ministers) come into force from 2nd December 2025. Compulsory purchase orders which are already in progress are exempt from the changes.
This amendment has no direct relevance to environmental matters.
