Designed to provide a clear, practical overview of the key environmental legislation in England, the course cuts through the legal jargon to explain which regulations apply to your organisation and, most importantly, what you need to do to comply with them.
Delivered remotely by our qualified trainers, the course is designed to fit around busy working schedules. It is divided into two modules, delivered on separate days to reduce online training fatigue and give participants time to absorb the content.
Attendance at both modules is required to complete the course.

This module provides a solid introduction to environmental legislation in England, introducing key environmental principles and the legislative framework that organisations need to understand. It then introduces key legislation and highlights practical steps your organisation can take to help meet its compliance obligations.

The overview of all key legislation was great. The checklists at the end were really helpful for applying the requirements to everyday life within a business.

This training course booking is valid for one attendee only. Please do not forward or share the meeting invitation or joining link with anyone else. Access is restricted to registered participants, and only the named attendee is permitted to join the session. If another person wishes to attend, they must purchase their own place and will receive a separate meeting invitation.

If you need to cancel your training course booking, please let us know at least 14 days before the course start date. Requests received after this time, or failure to attend without notice, will result in the full course fee being charged.
The training is completed remotely over two modules, delivered on consecutive days (09:30-12:30). This ensures that you are not unavailable for a full working day and limits online training fatigue.
All our consultant-trainers hold a virtual trainer qualification. They also deliver a range of other services we offer, including legal compliance audits and management systems support, to a range of clients from all different sectors. This means they are best placed to fully understand what managing environmental compliance looks like in your organisation.
This training course has been designed to suit a range of job roles, from someone starting out in an environmental or EHS role to someone with more environmental experience who would like to add to their knowledge and skills. It doesn’t matter what industry you are in, the topics covered are relevant to all.
You will receive a range of post course resources to reinforce your learning. These include an environmental compliance checklist and useful links referred to during the training.
All attendees receive a training certificate which is emailed directly to you after completion of the course. This can be used as evidence of competence and to count towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
The course ideally requires each delegate to have access to a webcam. This will enable interaction with the trainer and other course attendees to get the most from the sessions. We will also be utilising various functions of Microsoft Teams such as breakout rooms, polls and the chat function. Therefore, we recommend that delegates join on separate computers / laptops.
