The Act introduces powers that allow for the reform and speeding up of the planning system and an increase in the predictictability of planning decisions.
Amendment
Updated rules are set for local authorities in England in relation to minerals and waste plans and joint minerals and waste plans. Local authorities must revoke an existing minerals and waste plan document when a new document comes into effect.
