Internal Consultant

Matt develops content for the Legislation Update Service, articles and webinars, as well as supporting subscribers set up their registers and with queries. He has supported organisations to achieve EHS compliance for over 10 years through training, management and consultancy.

Matt joined The Compliance People in 2023, specialising in occupational health and safety with a background in environmental management. Previously specialising in EHS training and qualifications, he has worked with clients internationally as an approved IOSH and NEBOSH trainer and assessor. His areas of speciality include:

Interpreting EHS legislation to identify duties and requirements.
Creating bespoke EHS registers for organisations.
Assessment of risk and developing policies and safe systems of work.
Designing and delivering EHS webinars, training courses and qualifications.
Conducting internal audits for ISO standards.

Interests

After a day at work, you’ll usually find Matt playing video or board games with his family and friends, his current favourite is Wingspan. He follows football and ice hockey and enjoys roller skating.

Matt loves camping and canoeing in Wales and the Lake District with family, including Freddie, a black and white border collie.
