This amendment transposes the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2022/30 supplementing Directive 2014/53/EU with regard to the application of essential requirements.

Internet-connected radio equipment must:

  • not harm the network or its functioning;
  • protect personal data and privacy of the user and subscriber; and
  • support fraud protection features.

Conformity assessment procedures are updated to include the new requirements.

This amendment comes into force on 16th December 2025.
