Amends: The Carbon Budget Orders 2009 – 2021
The Carbon Budget Orders 2009 – 2021 set carbon budgets for certain time periods. Carbon budgets set a cap on the maximum level of the net UK carbon account for each five-year budgetary period.

This Order sets carbon budgets for the periods 2008-2012, 2013-2017 and 2018-2022. - The Carbon Budget Order 2011
This Order sets the cap on carbon emissions for the period 2023-2027. - The Carbon Budget Order 2016
This Order sets carbon budgets for the period 2028-2032.
The carbon budget for the period 2033-2037 is set at 965 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent.
