This half day course will focus on how to develop an environmental aspects register compatible with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems Standard.


Who should attend?

This course is aimed at individuals who are responsible for developing a new environmental aspects register that is compatible with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015.

It will also be useful for those responsible for updating and improving an existing aspects register to ensure it meets all of the requirements of the 2015 Standard.

The course will be particularly useful for those with limited or no knowledge of aspects or the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 Standard, in addition to those that would like to get the most out of the aspects functionality of the Legislation Update Service.


What will I learn?

Using the Legislation Update Service online aspects register tool, we will guide you through the following process:

  • identifying aspects under normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions;
  • considering life cycle perspective when identifying applicable aspects;
  • linking aspects to applicable legislation;
  • developing appropriate significance criteria and evaluating aspects accordingly; and
  • linking significant aspects to the identification of business risks and opportunities.

You will leave the course with the tools, templates, and the knowledge needed to create an aspects register for your own organisation that meets the requirements of the Standard.


Dates and locations

Training courses will be provided at venues located in the North and South of England, and in the Midlands. In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic we are not yet able to confirm dates and venues but will do this as soon as possible.

The workshop will run from 9.00am to 13:00pm and will include lunch and a chance to speak with one of our experienced consultants.

We are also able to deliver bespoke training courses for groups at your company premises upon request.
